The rainforest is filled with over 1,000 teak, mahogany, eucalyptus, and many of other trees, plants and fauna. Your hike will approximately and 1 1/2 hours in significant to extreme heat and humidity and the level of difficulty is moderate to strenuous. You will learn about the origin of the cacao tree, the history, the first contact with Europeans, and the principal disease called monilia.
